Idaho Society of Professional Land Surveyors

The Idaho Society of Professional Land Surveyors is Idaho’s statewide association for licensed land surveyors, established in 1976 as the Idaho Association of Land Surveyors and renamed in 1993. Its mission is to advance the science of land surveying and maintain high standards of professional ethics and practice.

ISPLS is organized around nine regional sections – David Thompson, Northern, Clearwater, High Country, Sawtooth, Southwest, Big Wood, Magic Valley, and Eastern – each with its own section forum for local members. The society publishes the Gem State Surveyor magazine, maintains a member directory and job board, and holds an annual conference.
