About
The Hawaii Land Surveyors Association, founded in 1988, is the primary professional organization for land surveyors across the Hawaiian Islands. By its own account it includes roughly 70 percent of the state’s licensed land surveyors, along with survey technicians and associate members.
The association is organized around island and county sections, including a Hawaii County section on the Big Island, and publishes a periodic newsletter with resources on state surveying practice. HLSA holds conference and expo events, including joint programming with Hawaii’s geographic information community.
