About
The Alaska Society of Professional Land Surveyors formed in 1959, during Alaska’s transition from territory to statehood, when surveyors organized to defend the profession’s legal scope of practice as new state licensing laws were being drafted. The society continues to promote surveying practice, professional standards, and public understanding of the profession in Alaska.
ASPLS holds monthly chapter meetings, maintains a calendar of events and news, and provides a members-only area of resources for surveyors working in the state.
