5 year project, remote camp, Douglas County, WA. 3 weeks on 10 hr days, 1 week off, or flexible for 2 LS's to insure one on site at all times.
I have very little info at the moment but will have a conference call later today to get some more details.

Anyone interested please contact me via pmail at [email protected] and I will give you the contact info.

Quote from Steve Gardner on July 13, 2011, 10:57 pmSounds like a great opportunity except for the remote camp 3 weeks on 1 week off for 5 years starting next week.

Quote from T.P. Stephens on July 14, 2011, 3:46 amWell, I had almost no info and I have a very little bit more.
2 year project not 5.
Cannot yet determine if there is control established. It is way back in the woods off of FS roads.
They say they want staking services to commence next week.
That would presume they have design plans. Don't know by who. Don't know if those were put together with 15 min. quads as design "control".
Anyway, I will hit them with a price to be on site next week with gear. If they choke, so be it. If they don't, I will assess realities on site with retainer in hand.

Quote from Kris Morgan on July 14, 2011, 3:21 pmThat sounds really cool. How long is the commute? Would you have to "camp"? However, yall have that crap up there called snow and cold and I don't think this Texas boy would do well. 🙂
Really though, that is the project for a single, licensed surveyor if I ever heard of one. Hell, you'd be rich when you got done cause there is no time to spend the money.

Quote from T.P. Stephens on July 14, 2011, 5:16 pmIn all my career the surveying I enjoy most is camp shows in the wilderness. Original GLO evidence is the bomb. This one fits me well as I have no current dependents and can acclimate to just about anything. Sure would like more than a weeks notice, however.
