That, my friends, is Black Mesa in the background
Quote from holy-cow on October 18, 2024, 3:00 pmThe attached photo shows a gathering of NCRS employees near the west end of the Oklahoma Panhandle. Somewhere atop Black Mesa is the highest point in the State of Oklahoma. You may also be seeing a little bit of Colorado at the right side of the photo and a bit of New Mexico at the left side of the photo. Has anyone here ever worked on or on and off of Black Mesa?

Quote from OleManRiver on October 18, 2024, 7:17 pmI have actually visited that place. A poor boy from Mississippi. That place was one of my bucket lists places from history. Made a round about route from STL MO to Austin just to go by that place it was my 5 minutes of checking a box.
It was actually the reverse I did it coming back from Austin. I had some leave and took it to make it by that place. I can’t always keep up with the routes now days unfortunately.
