surface files locked in LDD
Quote from BobM on July 4, 2010, 12:38 amI'm running LDD 2008. I also have C3D and I believe I must have opened this dwg in the "virtual Xp mode" in C3D2010.
When I try to build the surface, it gives me a warning that the surface files have been locked by virtual xp yadayadayada...
How do I unscrew up these surface files? Anyone know how to do this? When I look at the surface files in windows exporer and check their properties they are not locked.

It is worth a try, look in your "project folder" for a surface*.lk# file and delete, but don't empty the recycle bin yet, as you may want to restore and try something else.
