Small concrete drill
Quote from JB on July 9, 2010, 3:38 amI'm looking for a small, hand operated drill for setting points (PKs)in concrete. The smallest star drill I can find is 1/4" and won't hold a nail.
Any ideas?
TIA

Quote from Silversabre on July 9, 2010, 7:56 amI use a Cordless drill, 18V, use a 4.5mm bit for hilti nails/cartridge gun nails and a 7-8mm bit for the PK nails, if you happen to drill a hole to large for your nail, once around with a insulation tape usually does the drill then hammer home

Quote from JB on July 9, 2010, 12:21 pmI want to be able to drill a hole without power tools. I don't set points in walks or curb often, so when I reach for my cordless drill (which has been riding around in my truck for 3 months)it's usually dead.
Thanks!

a lot less aggravating than trying to get a nail into concrete without power tools.
