Looking for Remote Part Time work

Survey Peeps, I am looking for part time fully remote Professional Surveyor work. Do you need a little help writing descriptions? Need help plotting deeds, easements or ROW plans? I have over 20 years of experience, licensed in 6 states, taught college courses and currently employed by Uncle Sam. I want to keep my private boundary survey skills sharp while earning a little coin.  Looking for about 10-20 hours per week, no benefits needed just an hourly rate, or willing to go 1099 Independent Contractor. I can be reached through the direct messaging here if interested.  Signature line shows States that I am registered in.

I might be able to get you some work at my new gig. Will PM you next week. I am at a surveyor conference now and will pass the word.

What desktop software do you use?

@bushaxe C3D mostly, but I can use Microstation, Carlson, and Traverse PC.

@stlsurveyor Do you have your own Carlson license? I may can use you to plot up some deeds ahead of field work and/or some CAD work if so. It's not really PLS level work but it's something.

we've talked before but if you're ever around Bragg for a couple of days with time to kill then message me - would love to meet up & grab some food/beer

I messaged you last night fyi.  I just rolled in from a survey conference training etc.  i was able to talk to my chain if command and they are interested and a few others at the conference.  Also think of a price you would charge if i paid you directly for teaching me TBC or civil3d once in a while for an hour or so. I am self taught really on TBC but I am sure as I fumble through it there are some things I could do to shorten my task time. Civil3d I am learning from a co worker but I am all about learning everything I can.  In these times I bet you will be offered way more than 10 to 20 hours of work. I need 2 crews right now at bare minimum because of our work load.  And we are trying to hire . Just not finding anyone at all. My LS and I both have to go to the field in a couple weeks to get a job done and if we win this next bid I will probably have to do a 1700 acre alta solo. Plus draft it and my lack of cad skills will have me burning the midnight oil I am sure.  Here to help in anyway I can.  Since you are licensed you will find all the side gig work you want.

I manage a layout team for a large GC in the Midwest would you be open to training some team members as well as some possible survey students? If interested email me at [email protected]. Thank you.

I can use your help, but I am too new to the forums top message you. Dang it lol.
