Keynote Speaker at Arizona Conference in May
Quote from Wendell on April 14, 2011, 12:28 amJust thought I'd brag a little and tell you that my good buddy, David Souza and I will be the Keynote Speakers on Friday, May 20, 2011 during the luncheon.
Anyone here going to the Arizona conference? Maybe we can setup a meetup or two near the conference. We are looking around for nearby (hopefully within walking distance) brewpubs where we can get together and shoot the breeze. Any suggestions?
The conference is at:
Fiesta Resort Conference Center
2100 S. Priest Drive
Tempe, AZMore information available at http://www.azpls.org
Hope to see you there! 🙂

Quote from jbstahl on April 14, 2011, 1:19 pmI'll be there, Wendell... I'll be teaching for two days, so will be busy during the conference, but there's lots of free time once the projector is turned off. Would really look forward to spending some time with you and the rest of the entourage.

Quote from John1Minor2 on April 14, 2011, 3:17 pmThat's great Wendell. I can remember a time when you were reluctant to speak at the PLSO conference and now look at you. All grown up. 🙂
All kidding aside, you, Angel and Dave are doing a great job and providing a first rate service.

Quote from Wendell on April 14, 2011, 3:32 pmI'll admit, I'm still really nervous about it. But it is a lot of fun and I'm gradually getting better at speaking in front of people. That's always been a tough one for me and I finally decided it was time to face my fears and defeat them. I just did a webinar with Dave yesterday (thank you, That CAD Girl!) and I think it was pretty successful. Despite the lack of an in-person audience, I was still pretty nervous, but we got good feedback.
Anyway, enough about me. Who's going to the APLS Conference next month?
