Forum upgrade coming soon
The forum software upgrade is coming soon. But don't worry, most things will work the same as they do now, but with improvements.
I had some beta testers trying to break things on the earlier beta versions (installed on a test site), and now I have the "stable" version installed there. So far, so good. I'm still going through it all, plus improving the header to better accommodate navigation options and the advertisements.
I'm also revamping the default avatars to make them a bit more recognizable for those who don't customize it. There will also be some other goodies that come along for the ride, such as optional two-factor authentication for those that want to improve the security of their accounts.
This post serves as a "shot across the bow" so you won't be too surprised if the website has a "please stand by" message displayed within the next week or so. I promise I will try to keep it as brief as possible. I understand that some of you will experience withdrawals, and I truly apologize for that in advance. 😉
