Forum Updates for 2020-12-25: Rebranding

I hope to improve it even more in the coming weeks. Of course, speed is relative, so it really depends on where you are, your internet provider, and about 27 million other factors.

Between the rebrand and the decision to focus solely on the forum, I think this website will be at the peak of usefulness once I complete some of the related tasks left for me to do. I'm also excited (and relieved in many ways) that we could go back to SurveyorConnect. Like many others, I truly wish that we could have stayed with BeerLeg, but as we found within the first few weeks after launching in 2010, that name is pretty generically blocked on many corporate firewalls. At least we can all still affectionately refer to it as BeerLeg, and we've collectively coined the BeerLegger phrase that is pretty globally recognized at this point. 🙂

I think this is kind of funny, back when I joined the group, 10 years ago, I bookmarked the site as ??SurveyorConnect?, when it changed to RPLS ......., I thought about renaming the bookmark but never did. Don??t have to now ???? ??? Happy New Year! Wendell. Always enjoy the site and I have encouraged others to participate, this is a great resource!

I also have had it bookmarked as ??Surveyor Connect?. I never changed it.

I've noticed when not logged in, that this page, https://surveyorconnect.com/community/recent/, is not always current and sometimes it shows more recent posts but clicking on those links goes to the thread without those more recent posts included. I tried this in a fresh browser as well so don't think that it is cache clearing (although probably should have tried that before posting).
