Cad point issue

The Architect has provided a DWG for me to stakeout but none of the points (displayed in the image) appear after import into X-pad Ultimate Survey.

In Trueview the layers seem in order and they are not off or frozen. In X-pad all filters are turned on.

Does anyone know what the problem is from my end or the creator's end?

I am not familiar with X-pad Ultimate Survey. It may not have the ability to view AEC Objects. Does X-pad Ultimate Survey have a "Display Proxy Objects" capability?

Looking at the website, it appears that you need the BIM option to get points from a model. Do you have that?

Also, when you're looking at the file in trueview, did you list one of the points to make sure it is actually an AEC point and not just a block with mtext, which would mean the file was exported to AutoCad?

"The Architect has provided a DWG for me to stakeout" That statement alone has me cringing beyond belief in more ways than i can count. Those do not look like typical points and is most likely a result of the Architects Cad version(most likely based on just Cad and doesn't actually support civil3d survey(AEC) points. Couldn't you just add your own points based over the top of them to ensure compatibility.

For the record, I've never seen an architect drawing completely in the correct location and would never stake anything based solely on an architects drawing. I suppose that's part of the reason why we no longer do Any work under an architect.

I was just wondering if you have had any luck with this issue.
