Assistant Clinical Professor, Geomatics

The Geographic Information Science (GISC) and Geospatial Systems Engineering (GSSE) programs of the Department of Computing Sciences at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi invite applications for a 9-month, non-tenure track Assistant Clinical Professor of Geomatics to begin in fall 2023. The programs are among the premier geomatics and GIS undergraduate, and graduate tracks in the United States and reside in the College of Engineering. Our degree programs provide students with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities required by today's highly competitive and highly paid geospatial job market.

The Department of Computing Sciences offers a BS in Geographic Information Science (GISC), which is the only combined geomatics and GIS focused program in the nation that is also accredited by the Applied Science Accreditation Commission of ABET. In addition, the department offers an MS in Geospatial Systems Engineering (GSSE), and an interdisciplinary PhD program in Geospatial Computer Science.  The department is an active community of 21 full-time faculty members that serves around 600 students.
