I will admit that this day arrived much sooner than I ever anticipated. Had I made my own guess even a month ago, it probably would have been in May or June. Even on Day 1 (June 30, 2010), if you had told me we'd be at 1,000 on our one-year anniversary, I would have said you were crazy. And here we are, over two months earlier than that.

Anyway, I'll bet you're all wondering when the magic moment occurred and, even more so, who won the prize for selection of the 1,000th user contest posted here: [msg]57647[/msg]. Well, wait no longer! The exact moment the 1,000th user confirmed his/her account was:

There were several close guesses. I would consider anything within a few days of the actual event above a pretty darn good guess. But there's only one winner and he is:

Let's further evaluate his guessing strategy, shall we?

Year is 2011; 2 + 0 + 1 + 1 = 4
Month is 4
Day of month is 22; 2 + 2 = 4
Time is 10:13:16; all digits added up equal 12, which is divisible by 4.

Coincidence? I think not. 😉

That's pretty dayum incredible. When did we pick these dates?

EDIT/ADD: I see now that I had CONTESTS toggled off for some reason. Still not too shabby.
