Just to round out the year, Professor Ivan I. Mueller passed away April 12 of 2023 (at the age of 93) and nobody mentioned it.
He was the author of many geodesy texts, especially those applying spherical and practical astronomy to geodesy.
You can look up his obituary on Google.
