My deepest sympathies.?ÿ I have health conditions that put me in the high-risk category, the first time I got COVID at the age of 53, it almost killed me, I spent a stint in ICU wondering if I was going to live, as careful as I have been in limiting my exposure, I am now getting over the second bought with it.?ÿ Vaccinated or not, everybody is eventually going to get sick with the Omicron strain.
I can't imagine your loss or the grief.?ÿ My heart goes out to you.

I'm so so very sorry for your loss - I can't imagine losing either of my boys. I will be praying hard for you guys during this difficult time. Life is not fair.?ÿ COVID has proven this so many times.?ÿ Like your son, I am fully vaccinated and boosted but also a diabetic.?ÿ Our schools are full of COVID and parents are trying to treat this like nothing more than the flu.?ÿ No big deal. WRONG!
My grandmother was 70 and I was 10 when my aunt died at age 46 in a drowning accident.?ÿ We drove her to Pueblo, Colorado and back in an un-air-conditioned car for the funeral in late August.?ÿ She suffered tremendously, but not from the heat.?ÿ She was mad at those who might have been able to save her life but took no action.?ÿ She focused on the thought that she should have passed before any of her three children.?ÿ Her response to this tragedy left a lasting mark on my heart and mind.
