Hello! This is my first forum post so I hope this is in the right place.
I'm hoping to get some answers that i cannot seem to find anywhere else. I want to get into photogrammetry using Drones. I got my part 107 and then realized photogrammetry falls under similar regulations as land surveying in my state. So if I want to practice photogrammetry, do I need to first be licenced? Or is it possible to practice under someone who has their certification before I myself get certified. I know that for engineering it works like that but i couldn't find if its true for surveyors and photogrammetrists.
Any other tips on how to best get into this field would be greatly appreciated.
here you go:

it's going to take a few years doing this for the right operations and mentoring.
Good luck!

If you are talking about applying in Oregon, then yes I believe the process is similar as engineers and surveyors, both which require the claimed experience to be gained under someone authorized to practice photogrammetry.
Look under the Professional Photogrammetrist Licensing Process at https://www.oregon.gov/osbeels/obtaining/Pages/Licensing-Process-in-Oregon.aspx
The practice of photogrammetry is included in the definition of Land Surveying in Oregon. There is also a separate photogrammetrist licensing in Oregon. So you could work under the supervision of an Oregon LS - provided that LS has some knowledge of the practice of photogrammetry him/herself.
