I came across a project a few weeks back where I had to scan an existing object and compare it to design. Not too difficult. So I did that and made what I thought was a good deliverable and sent it off to the client.

The next Monday speaking with one of the engineers, it was apparent that what may be obvious to me, as someone that works with geospatial data daily, may not be obvious to someone that doesn't.

I revised my approach at visualizing the data and made a video of a some of the deliverables I came up with. After all, we can collect good data, perform sound analysis, but if the person paying us for that doesn't understand the message we are trying to convey, then what good is all that effort?

Its a longer video, there's chapters so you can jump around but I cover a lot and you may find a tip or trick here or there if you stick it out.?ÿ

Please feel free to add any of your techniques that you would like to share as well.

Fantastic. I was hoping to come up with something Jedi to say when I realized Scorpion uses a friken plumb bob.

Flawless victory, Scorpion wins.

..regarding sending a masterpiece like that to engineers, I would recommend Gerber puréed carrots and airplane sound effects. Helps them focus on their work.
