My poor computer has set idle for the past 44 days. No more. Made it home from Acute Inpatient Rehabiltation Clinic at the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas (two blocks from Missouri) about an hour ago. Had to stop by to see my neurosurgeon and take some new X-rays showing the two rods and 18 screws holding all of the T-vertabrae together. No issues. Go back in two months

The reason I am eating via a feeding tube is in no way due to the bull. I have had a minor issue for a long time with swallowing large pills and sometimes getting things like bits of nuts or popcorn hung up in my thoat. I have a condition involving osteocytes (bone spurs, sorta) in my throat area that has been squeezing down on my esophagus and not allowing the epiglotis to close completely. They put me flat on my back for a week trying to eat via the side of my mouth. Small bits of food and too much liquid ended up in my lungs ( aspiration pneumonia). It took two weeks to clear that up so I could enter Rehab for the past four weeks.

Fancy new electric wheelchair should be here next week. Using a loner for now. Picked up a 2021 Chrysler van yesterday so I now have a way to get places beyond wheelchair range. Mrs. Cow is burning through her retirement savings very quickly. My assets aren't quite as liquid, so it will take a couple of months to get her paid back. House is being modified slightly, also.

Left KC at the same time a billion crazy people were focused on the Union Station area where the Chiefs victory celebration was being held. Made sure to not even think of going that direction. Learned a few minutes ago there was a mass shooting down there with one dead and about 15 injured.

When I first tuned in to RPLS.com an hour ago I noticed that this place is busier than ever. That is fantastic. Build this profession one thread at a time. I will try to add some flavor to the recipe as I can.

Holy Cow

P.S. @squirl Thought of you as I passed the transformer station three miles north of Elsmore on the way home. One half mile west is your corner.

Hmm, this is a surveying forum and you said something about a Bull.

Are you riding a Bull instead riding an ATV?
