I have not watch an episode since midway in the first season because it was not my "thing" and because they drag out and repeat everything and exaggerate so much.
However I must ask did they ever find anything of note?

I know what you mean, and when watching those I can feel life draining out of me. Haven't watched more than a few hours of TV each year for the past ten years or so.

There should be a special prize for the stupidest and most nauseating reality TV show and I'm certain that the Alaska themed shows would place in the top.?ÿ

How can they possibly still be making shows and even more is how can there possibly be more than 2 total viewers in the entire world?
I watch the show every now and then, and they find just enough artifacts that if you made a fortune in Oil and Gas, and have a boyhood dream it's enough to justify?ÿ and keep investing money for the search. People have been looking for a treasure on Oak Island since late 1800's. At this point in his life?ÿMarty Lagina is spending his kids inheritance, if I was him and it was my boyhood dream I would keep looking, why go to the grave not knowing if you have the means to find out.?ÿ
Quit watching it. Just got too stupid, the History Channel needs to pull it.
I took a quick look at its ratings. It's still often the top rated cable show for its time slot unless there's a game on.

There are STILL people watching the Kardashians (sp?) though.?ÿ I have a niece who is obsessed with them.?ÿ I have no idea why, but she is.
