Bless me father Wendell its been a while since I got out on RPLS, but just a note that despite a decreasing memory and a failing body from years of drama and trauma I am still living the life of a retired Surveyor. Still living mostly at my bush off-grid self-contained cabin with some new building improvements this year, flying 150 hours a year mostly off-airport, and seeking big pelagic saltwater fish on the flyrod in Central America. I enjoy popping on here every once in a while, it helps with the memory.
Good to hear from you Mike. Thank s for the update on your wonderful retirement.
All the best to you.
It's great to hear you're still thriving despite the challenges. Your life sounds full of adventure and passion, from your off-grid cabin and aviation to fly fishing in Central America. It's wonderful that you find joy in reconnecting here occasionally—it’s a testament to the enduring spirit of a retired surveyor living life to the fullest.
