The quiz gave me 89/100. I have no idea how that can be a valid score, as there weren't enough questions to break it that finely.

That was just from general test taking skill, because I ha never heard of their topic before as a methodology.

The sum is 2 because there are missing operators to connect the first 2 lines to the 3rd.

Almost equal forces needed, but the second figure has the legs pulling at a small angle so you lose some of the force from lifting. The figure is wrong because it does not split tha angle properly.

Could be 2 or could be 12.?ÿ Are the plus signs really there at the end of the first two lines?

Dunno.?ÿ Don't work in KG units.

As an Engineer, does it make any difference what the measure is? ?????ÿ

This is a bit like foot or foot.?ÿ Which one?

What is the difference between a pound of weight and a pound of force or, for that matter, sixteen fluid ounces.?ÿ A pint's a pound, the world around.?ÿ Right?

Pound-foot or foot-pound.?ÿ What is the difference??ÿ This is why physics majors must be a bit loony to begin with.

Define kinematic viscosity versus dynamic viscosity.?ÿ What units apply to each?

Measuring flow in cubic miles per hour.

What's a henway?

Sorry Man, I thought it involved pulleys. The thing you use to yank a 283 out and replace with a 396. (the engine mounts are hell)

"What's a henway?" Umm... a road for chickens??ÿ

Three to four pounds is about right. (hen weigh)

Put enough pulleys in the system and you can grab the rope between your two pinky fingers and lift anything.?ÿ Theoretically, that is.?ÿ No friction of any kind.

Put enough pulleys in the system ...

Only if they are configured to increase the number of rope segments applying lifting force, and not just changing direction.

Don't work in KG units.

Pretend it is in units of 6-packs.
