Just a kid with a dirt bike!!!
Nate you are not fibbing a little are you. That was you breaking the law. Come on tell the truth. you have a little outlaw in you. Or you were sipping on that jug from the barn again.
Alas! My wife doesn't approve of my liking of motorcycles.
So, that's out. But, my inner child likes them!

6 on 1 .... for just a wheelie.... I was rooting for the bike...
I wouldn't think the wheelie was worth pulling him over. But leading them on a high speed chase in traffic is a very serious matter.

The choice of the high speed chase is the trooper's as well. Trooper hits someone, they are responsible.
This is insane, what, did these clowns thing they were remaking Smokey & The Bandit? There is no way they should not have called off this chase early for safety reasons. I guess they just wanted to play NASCAR for a while.
Wife delivered a plat to the client for me this afternoon. On the way back she was pulled over by a highway patrol officer for going too fast. She called while he was back in his cruiser. I asked if he was a good looking fellow under 40 or a handsome fellow about 50. She said 40. I told her not to mention my name or it would be bad for her. She ended up with nothing but a warning. Whew! It was a former client who thought my invoice was about triple what he thought it should be. Not a happy camper. The other potential officer was a client about this time last year. He was tickled pink the invoice was so low.
The wife and I had been to town and we were headed home. She was driving and we were having a nice conversation when blue lights began flashing behind us. She looked at the speedometer and said she must have been speeding (5 or 6 over the limit). The young officer approached and said he pulled us over because she wasn't maintaining her lane. That was pure BS. I didn't say anything until he started giving her a hard time for not having an insurance card on her. I commented that I was told by a state trooper that we didn't need to since insurance info is in the DMV database. He said we were supposed to have one and it was ok if it was on the phone. I said give me a minute and I'll download one. He said not necessary since he was going to call the tag number in to make sure. She wasn't given a ticket or even a warning. In my opinion, he just made up a reason to stop us. Why? We'll probably never know. Another ounce of respect for law enforcement gone.
That was a hilarious chase. The LEO's overreaction was stupefying imho. A crazy kid might have dumped his scooter riding on one tire...banged himself up and bent his bike.
Instead let's endanger half the traveling public with 30000 pounds of squad cars doing 90 mph...not to mention the amount of taxpayer's gasoline that was consumed.
It's Just my feelings, but I feel that kid did learn something that day.... You can "Beat da police" if you are good enough.
And, I suspect he has enjoyed that video!

she wasn't maintaining her lane.
ask to see that video evidence. Anymore, I'm never going to trust the direct witness words from people whom are allowed to say anything else to put you at a disadvantage and potentially to prosecute. Times have changed, we should all be saying "Show Me" because the technology allows for that unmitigated ability now.
what a jerk.
