We all like sports... Just different kinds.
This is what I enjoy:

And, motorcycles, and airplanes, and fishing, and I have skydived.
I also really like Alpine Skiing. In fact, I could do that all day... just not in Arkansas.
Anyway, Check out that helicopter vid.

Holy mackerel!
Reminds me of dragonflies the way they zip about.
An amazing bit of gear.
Glad the full sized ones are a bit more civilised. I used to enjoy my rides in them.
I don't have one of those... But I have flown RC, back yrs ago. Fixed wing.
But, I can see that real useful drones are REALLY becoming available.
The accelerometers, and Gyros are making LOTS of things now do-able, which could not every be done before.
I look forward to the day we routinely take a drone to a job, and provide a CURRENT photo of the site.

You know, There's a nice little ski area not more than 5 miles from my control network that could really take that Javad system for a ride, confirming my Astro azimuths...free ski passes, fresh Vermont mountain air...all God's great country here....Just sayin'.
Whew! Glad real helicopters don't do that. (at least with me in it).;)
RFC, should I consider it a "Family Outing?"

I sure hope so, I can fly a quad easily, but have not been able to fly a helicopter. The controls are unforgiving, at least in the 2011 models.
