30 years and six days ago they both said "I do" and meant it. Congratulations to Wendell and Angel.

Thanks! No applause needed. I wouldn't have it any other way. I married up. She probably had to work harder for those 30 years than me.

She's a little red in the picture due to being a lightweight and having already downed a huckleberry lemon drop cocktail. LOL 🤣

Oh, and if you are ever in Bend, Oregon and looking for a great anniversary steakhouse, The Brickhouse is incredible. She had chicken picatta and was raving about it the entire time. I had the blackened ribeye and didn't give my mouth a chance to utter words. Also, the service was fantastic and fun.

There was a wonderful episode of Gunsmoke on MeTV a few days ago concerning a couple who had been married for 30 years and doing a great job of converting a broken down farm into a good farm with good buildings. The episode was from 1960 and starred the future Jed Clampett from The Beverly Hillbillies and the future Clara, Aunt Bee's friend and competitor, from The Andy Griffith Show as that couple. I highly recommend that episode to everyone. I'll just say that Clara's solution to the problem Jed has created is superb.

Aww, thanks guys!! 😊
Yeah, I was a little tipsy there. The bartender guy made it so sweet, I didn't taste the alcohol! And the fruit in the drink and in Wendells drink had been soaked in brandy beforehand, so I was popping that fruit in my mouth and all of a sudden... oh my. Things got a little fuzzy. hahaha!! But it was all good. 😉

Here's a pic from November 10th, 1993. The day we got married. We've changed a little bit.
