First, have two nearby small cities decide that today is the Annual Official All-City Garage Sale Day.
Second have another nearby small city hold their Annual Festival including a parade and tons of other outdoor events.
Third, participate in said parade by driving this vehicle.
Have received nearly three inches of rain since 6:00 a.m.
Heading in soon to check out the band that was half set-up for an outdoor performance before deciding to move into the school gymnasium.
Nice! ¿ Is that beauty yours ?
Yes, it is. However, it is a kit car that was assembled on a Pinto base. It resembles a 1927 Mercedes-Benz Gazelle. The assembly process took place in our high school's automotive technology class over about three years. The students had to learn a little bit of everything about what makes a bunch of parts function to become a car. The instructor is only part time as his primary business is building and rebuilding engines of all kinds.
That's amusing; my first thought was "That looks like an upside-down Mercedes hood ornament."
Nice, that will bring rain quick. How about some more details. Engine? Tranny? Turbocharger? etc...

Nothing to brag about on that end of things. Maybe 1600 cc Ford engine, standard to Pintos. Auto tranny. Rides like a tank bouncing over boulders. But, it looks sharp. Putting my butt and long legs into the correct position for driving is fun to watch. Watching me extract myself from the bucket seat is even funnier. The car creaks a bit as it moves. So do I.
No seat belts. No rear view mirrors. Had to add turn signals. The bumpers would not meet any safety standards.
Can you drive that to Wisconsin for me? We need the rain. The other steps weren't working for us.
