Just thought I'd drop a note and say hello from back home in GA.

I was totally miserable in IL - no friends, lived in a nursing home, blah blah.

I just wanted to be back home in GA and in the South.?ÿ

Unbelievably my cat was still here. Pretty poor shape but i'm getting him back in shape.

As a coming-home/survived cancer/Christmas present I bought myself a Ruger 1911.

In any event. I'm still around.

Eric

Dang Big! Good to see you here! Was the cat happy to see Ya? It's amazing he made it, and was waiting for you. That?ÿRuger is a nice pistol. You're going to have to get a place to shoot it. I know the law and neighbors won't take kindly to plinking out the back door.

Wow! Welcome back...

Maybe this will cheer ya...

When I was a kid, we had goats. They had babies in the spring. One year a herd of 25, became a herd of near 60. Lots of twins. Mom named one of the "lolly-waddles".

Anyway, they always nursed their mamas. All us kids nursed our mom. We were California hippies. Sorta...

One day, this guy came by, and said he was considering "going to nursing school". Well, with all my knowledge of lactation, being what nursing was all about... I was leery of a guy who lacked the common sense to know that nursing was reserved for females with babies, and thinking he could be schooled enough to do it!

🙂

Welcome back!

?ÿ

I've learned to click the Save/Add Reply button once and only once when posting a message and then wait patiently for it to update/refresh.?ÿ If you notice that you've double posted, you have a short window to delete the spares.

That doesn't cheer me no matter how many times it's posted.

I've been to hell and it now takes a lot to cheer me. good luck.

I knew you'd make it, and glad you did. Now that the cat is doing well have you checked on the trains yet??ÿ ??ÿ

Wish you the best, and just Keep on Keeping on.

The trains are a wreck. The layout is probably going to get redone. I had had a lot of it shipped to me in Illinois where I built another layout. I brought it all back with me of course. Don't know where I'll start. Unfortunately the new layout plan means I'll probably have to loose the mountain.
