Maaaannnn! Hated JCS. Best friend growing up - his brother a 'nam vet - had THE level coolest stereo system with reel to reel turntable and every gadget in the world. We were only allowed to play the turntable, and his JCS album was everything to the cute girls in our class, so we got stuck listening to that over and over .. hate it.
He did have 'Schools Out for Summer' and 'Horse with No Name'. We rocked to that, and a few others I can't recall.
It turns out that is from King Herod's Song portion of Jesus Christ Superstar. That youtube clip is a bit over three minutes. I will not provide a link here.
@loyal I went to Glassboro State College what's his guitarist. I hung out with him a few times while in school. 1 time and all nighter. He's very talented. When I listened to your link just know I was reminded of another pie-annie tune "Music Box Dancer". When I looked it up on YouTube I was surprised to see it was the same composer/ artist. Small world indeed. 😉
That was his big hit in the late '70's. I was working in South Fl and had to go to a business dinner at the Flagler museum in Palm Beach. It was a black tie deal and the pianist (some dudette thumpin' on a pee-aner) played the song below. She didn't have orchestral accompaniment but it was really nice without. Another Frank Mills song some people won't enjoy.
