Also mind blowing to think what the dealer markup is on the R10 if they can offer 15K trade in for a system they will flip to a reseller like me for $2500. Bottom line though, it is a great old system, keep it for a backup if nobody bites on it
It was explained to me that it was Trimble was offering the trade-in deal. $5,500 for any dual channel GPS on a new R10 and $1500 on a TSC2 for a TSC3.
Someone buying a new R10 system could save a few bucks by using my stuff as a trade-in.
When I recently bought the TSC3 the trade in was $1500 for a TSC2 but mine was nice and had the latest access version so I bought a trashed non working one off of ebay for $50 and traded that in.....they didn't care if it worked or not.

Guy just sold an R8-3 on here for $6000.Just one unit, wrong radio frequency. Makes my deal look pretty good.
Picked up a nearly identical Trimble system, 5700/5800, Trimark 3 on a trade in few years ago for 5k. Just sayin.

I believe that will be a GPS only system, folks.

That would include GLONASS and be several years newer.
Skeeter, you are really going to like that new R10. A big upgrade from the c.1999 system you have been using.
You are comparing apples to oranges.

More like honeycrisp to jongolds. Granted if your in heavy trees a GNSS system is going to out perform a just GPS system. No argument. But how long does two offsets take? A new state of the art GNSS Trimble system is $30,000+. If you want to get started solo you can certainly survive with a GPS only system considerably cheaper. Assuming your not operating in a jungle somewhere. If you're operating in wheat or hay fields you don't need a GNSS system. I can't see that a double the cost investment is waranteed. Honeycrisp are sure sweeter, but $3 more a lb sweeter?

Even a blind monkey gets lucky sometimes.

Trimble 5700 with internal receive radio w/battery also have auxllary battery hookup cable
Trimble 5800 with internal receive radio w/3 batteries
Trimmark 3 Base Radio and antenna
Trimble TSC2 Data Collector with Survey Controller. spare battery
Asking $15000 this is trade-in value
Everything is in great shape and works great. The TSC2 has the usual occasional problems, nothing a reset won't cure. Everything comes in their own pelican type cases.
wow, why didn't you take the trade-in?

Have you sold this? Any pictures? Also is that radio narrow band?

Haven't sold it yet. Both radios have been narrow banded. Photos are too large to upload. send me an email and I'll send them to you via that way.
Jon, Im going to be in Spearfish South Dakota in a couple of weeks and could sure deliver and show you how to use it.
