After 53 years I am retiring from active surveying. I am downsizing and selling my equipment.
Sipe-Sumner compass (approx 1972) with an adjustable fiberglass tripod: $500.00 + shipping.
This instrument was used by me for boundary retracement in mountain areas of central PA.
I will include Henry Sipe's book "Compass Land Surveying" 1979 edition, signed by Henry.
Additional photos will be provided via E-Mail.

Awesome. Wish I could afford it. Enjoy your retirement. I'm sure you will get a buyer here.

Me, Too! I've wanted one of these for a long time.
If something happens and Dave backs out, or if someone else has one for sale, I'll take it!

The Sipe-Sumner compass and book have been sold.

Thanks to all who were interested and to Wendel and Angel for providing this site.

Enjoy your retirement Grant; if you ever get back out to the Pacific Northwest, be sure to look me up again!
