We have a complete working Base/Rove/DC Leica System1200 GPS for sale. Unit was in regular use until 1.5 years ago, and then was used by a retired surveyor to subdivide his own property. All cables and attachments are included. $2500 or best offer. Located in Helena, MT (zip 59601). Would be interested in partial or complete trades. We could use a numberall rotary stamp set, possibly a good condition total station.?ÿ
Don't be afraid to make an offer. Pictures available on request.
Thanks. Mike

No reasonable offer refused!
What about the processing software for solving the vectors between the base and rover?
Ed
I'll check our stack of computer CDs when I get to the office Monday morning to see if we still have the Leica software.
Sorry for the delay, I was out of town on a Forest Service job all of last week. Leica software is included.?ÿ
Price dropped to $2000 obo.
Correction: $2000 shipped to anywhere in the Continental US
Back to the top - still available.
I'm not familiar with Leica.?ÿ Is this setup capable of RTK??ÿ I'm not sure if I see a base radio in there.
This is a RTK GPS?ÿonly capable base and rover pair. There is a radio (I forgot to take a picture of it) that is a PacCrest PDL model 4535. The entire setup is +/- 15 years old. It was purchased used in 2011 from Selby's of Billings, MT and has been used continuously by a PLS (now retired) until early this summer. Everything works. The retired PLS is the gentleman who set the price, I am just playing the middle man for him.
So it would actually be a pretty sweet setup if your work was all out in the open prairie or something like that?

Yes, that is where this performs the best. We are located in western Montana, where terrain and timber are not always favorable for GPS (or even GNSS) coverage. As with any other GPS, good field practices (tie/dump/tie) can successfully be used in less than favorable conditions, even if it's just to set control and traverse in/side shoot needed points. This unit will never hold a candle to the latest greatest GNSS units, but then again it's 1/10th the cost.
Was the radio marrowbanded?
