Has anyone used the School of PE PS exam prep course? I am getting ready to take the Texas exam and am curious if anyone has used this course for their study. Any help is greatly appreciated!
I never even knew of such an organization.?ÿ Please provide a link to their website.
@kevin-hines Never heard of them either, but this seems to be their website - https://www.schoolofpe.com/
I'd say it's telling that a search of their PDH/CEU courses with keywords "land" and "survey" yielded not a single course with a land surveying focus, and that not a single one of their course writers has a professional land surveying license.
But hey, what do I know? All I have is more experience and more professional certifications in the field of land surveying than any one of their feature course writers.
If you're going for your PE, that site might benefit you.
?ÿ
Also, you do know that the state-specific exam is a whole 'nother ballgame than the NCEES exams that the site purports to prepare you for, right?
@rover83 I have never heard of them, so this is certainly not some kind of endorsement, but to be fair, of the six instructors listed as covering either the FS or PS - one (1) of them does have PLS shown after his name and is apparently Geomatics Coordinator at NMSU.

@jon-payne?ÿ Thanks Jon.?ÿ I think I'll keep my recommendations to the reference materials in my library and/or are study guides recommended by NCEES.?ÿ This looks too sketchy for my comfort.
Prof Elaksher is indeed a PLS and a PhD in CE and a PE and a board member of the New Mexico board of licensed engineers and surveyors.
He's one of the two heads of the department at NMSU.
