What is the proper term for this structure??ÿ Several of these project above the roof at the ends and above the interior party walls.?ÿ 2 story brick building.?ÿ Thanks!

Can't quite tell the scale...parapet might be a good word.

Those are fire walls.

The first photo is a parapet.?ÿ In the Old West many commercial buildings were false-front buildings.?ÿ A full two-story square front might have a standard one-story building behind it.
