Yep don't want them being confused with 2's and o's.

Nope

How many of you make your 4's like this, (the right way)?

Never have crossed either; was not taught to do so.

I cross z but not 7. Most of my students crossed 7 but not z.

I picked up the habit in the sixth grade, in Canada. My teacher that year was British, and he was the first person I'd ever seen do it. These days, roughly 50 years later, I do it about half of the time.

My Canadian wife insists that the 26th letter of the alphabet is "zed".?ÿ I tell her that she should get back in the kitchen, and then duck and cover.

Was not trained to do that, so don't.

The open top four is preferred as the closed top four looks too much like a nine.

A script F is weird, but when someone is printing an F and makes it look like a script F the result is a backwards F from my perspective.

I took technical drating in high school and learned early to draw a two like this 2.

I hate seeing the loop in the lower part of a number two.
