If you want to provide input to NGS on how it provides CORS data, here’s your chance.
1400-1500 ET tomorrow!
Yes speak now or forever hold your peace. I am so hoping i can attend. I registered but some pressing projects might keep me from attending.
Not able to connect via my PC, but the same link works on my phone. Tried many times on the PC
@olemanriver chrome, but never had a problem before. I just get a spinning symbol
FWIW, I had no problem running Safari on an iPad Pro.
The presentation, interrupted by too many polls, displayed and described how NGS plans to consolidate data now existing on various pages.
Some screen captures shown below:
BTW, the poll asked about the use of position and velocity files with significant numbers indicating that they either “don’t need them” or “don’t know what they are.” I don’t know which of these responses bothers me more.
Overall, the page looks nice. Consolidating the information is definitely desirable. I don’t know why they don’t use a scatter plot for the residuals.
Those registered should get a copy of the presentation in a week or so.
interrupted by too many polls,
They said many times the purpose today was to get user feedback, hence the polls.
If you think scatter plots are better send them that comment.
Yes they did mention that there would be a number of polls. Too bad they did not allocate enough time for the presenter to get through her slides.
I wonder why this webinar was said to be appropriate for beginners as much of the material required prior knowledge to meaningfully comment?
Yes. I did submit comments during the presentation. Unfortunately, when they terminate the webinar comments not yet submitted cannot be submitted.
