Lots of funny-talking people running around here in New York City this weekend.
Out to dinner last night, my wife strikes up a conversation with the people at the next table, turns out they're from North Dakota.
Apparently, there are over 6,000 North Dakotans here for Saturday night's NCAA Men's Division I Ice Hockey game ("The College Hockey Showdown at Madison Square Garden") between Boston College and UND's Fighting Hawks.
The Hawks are the defending NCAA Champions, and overall have won the championship eight times.
Heck, that's almost 1 % of the population of ND........I am picturing empty streets in Fargo.😉
I have a hard enough time seeing a North Dakota license plate, much less a real live denizen here visiting NYC.
I hope at least a few of them drove here.
Good luck to the Hawks (and to the Eagles).
