I let windows 10 install on my desktop and laptop and have been using it since the free upgrade deadline. I have not had any real bad problems yet except that is has slowed both computers down to a crawl. Is this normal for 10? One reason I let it upgrade I read a post from Wendell talking about how fast it was. I have seen just the opposite on mine, both have SSD drives and it reminds me of the old days when you could go get a cup of coffee while AutoCad did a regen. It is just not in cad, it seems to be that way with most other programs also. This computer is an I-7 with 32 GB ram, it did scream with windows 7. Any suggestions?
TIA
Ed
Whatever virus and maleware protection you are using is part of the problem and all the changes that has caused to your registry and startup is another.
I am still happy with my bare bones version of Win7Pro64, no bloat so far.

I don't know that it matters, but when I upgraded from 7 to 10 I immediately followed that with a clean install of 10. Everything seems to be chugging along nicely.
Stupid question, but, have you checked the space left on your SSD drives, Windows loves space.
