We've been married 100 years today.

I had a classmate whose father was quite the joker. Her mother was bigger than he was and she had to "straighten him out" a few times over the years. One of those times happened shortly after the following occurred.

A fellow asked the father about my classmate and if she was part of his family. Within earshot of his wife he said, "That's my wife's daughter by her first husband." He neglected to mention that he was her first, and only, husband.
