UConn Women Fall To Stanford, 71-59

Stanford, the last team to beat UConn before the start of the 90 game win streak, elected to concentrate defense on UConn leader Maya Moore. The Husky star was held to 14 points and the rest of the team could not pick up the slack. Since the 2008 semifinals when Stanford won, UConn had beaten them 3 times. Year in and year out, the best two women's basketball teams in the Nation.
