Wow! That had to be the shocker of the day but looking at UCLA's record then they appear to be a lot bette team than their 0-2 start. They lost to a very good K-State team and then to #25 Stanford (who should rise in this weeks poll). Then UCLA beat #23 Houston and now #7 Texas(who will fall and who knows how far).
UCLA has to have one of the toughest schedules this year. They have seven games against ranked teams.
And now Texas is facing OU next weekend. I'd say at this point that OU is going to be a heavy favorite.
Gotta love this wacky sport.
GO POKES! BEAT TAMU!
That game was hard to watch. Every point Texas lost by they gave away by giving UCLA the ball.
I can see several players carrying a football 24/7 this next week with severe penalties imposed for letting it go.
The same thing was rampant in many games with the underdog prevailing and/or making a good game out of what was expected to be a run away.
Texas #21 in the AP poll.
Wow! From 7th to 21st all in a day. I'm a little surprised that they dropped this far but they struggled in the other games so likely that played into how the AP voters tallied up their choices.
I'm pumped about our Thursday night game in Stillwater versus Texas A&M. My Pokes have certainly surprised me this year and what was being called a rebuilding year. We have scored more points that any other Big 12 team and have played one less game. A little D and we actually could be a contender this year in the Big 12. We will find out just how good we are in a couple of weeks when we play #6 Nebraska.
Texas #21 in the AP poll.
No need to worry about Nebraska. K-State will cripple them first.
Texas #21 in the AP poll.
It looks like K-State will be a serious contender this year in the north division and they beat UCLA who devoured Texas. Nebraska will be tough though as they are generating some offense this year for a change so they will not have to entirely rely on their defense.
I heard on the news that everyone on the Texas team has to carry a ball all week with them.
Down the teasippers.
