I have decided that I see and find many things, in the course of my work, that I'd like to remember, later when I am too old to go to the woods, surveying. So, here are this weeks photos.

That is the GPS sitting on a fence corner, and Big Help in a deer stand.

This is a better shot of the deer stand.

This was a unique tree. We ran the 4-wheeler out of gas, in 10buck47, and I hiked back over the hills, to my truck. On the way, I got this shot. It was just a neat tree, in a creek bed.

I like this idea, Nate. A weekly photo or photos from people. We should make this a regular weekly thing. I don't know about the rest of you guys but I thoroughly enjoy looking at everyone's pics and reading the stories behind them. 🙂

@christ lambrecht

Deer Stand.

Deer tend to be horizontal creatures. If you are way up in a tree, they don't tend to look there. Also, your scent does not hit the deer, like it does if you are on the ground. So, it is a good place to hunt from.

Plying on the weakness of the creature.
