I got a very nice Thank You note from Peirce and Hamilton in the mail today.
Both thanked me very profusely for the $100. Pierce spent his at Universal Studios. Hamilton can't wait to see me again.
I don't know anyone named Pierce or Hamilton.
The return address is undecipherable. In fact, the addressee is 'UNCLE DA(N)". The "N" could be a "V", I guess. It's child writing.
I sure hope whoever gave these nice kids $100 each isn't too disappointed they didn't get a thank you note!
Yesterday I recieved a text from Bank of America that notified me that my credit card account with last digits XXXX had been locked because of failed attempts to make online payment.
A web address was given to goto.
That opened a signin page for ID & Passcode.
The 4 digits matched the acount, problem is that I do not have a credit card.
It was a catfish attempt to gain my sign in info.
I probably shouldn't tell the whole world this for obvious reasons, but, I received a call last week from a fellow telling me I had won the Publisher's Clearing House big prize. I let him go on for several minutes before I told him I wouldn't be accepting the prize no matter what questions he asked me. It's like winning the lottery. You have to buy a ticket first. I have never entered the PCH contest in my entire life. Besides, you could tell this guy was in a telephone boiler room and his command of the English language was severely lacking.
