Anyone ever fired or owned one of these 30-06 pistols?

I have one in 308 win. it's plenty accurate and just fun to shoot!
i've shot a older thompson contender in 30-30. it was a lot of fun. i can't imagine that sucker in 30-06. you better hold on tight!
Years ago I was out with a friend who had the Contender in several calibers. The 30-30 was like holding a momentary fire hose - soft and lengthy recoil that pushed you around.
The 44 mag was like having your hand hit with a sledge hammer but didn't move me as much.
The difference was that the 30-06 cartridge was factory loaded for a longer barrel, and the 44 was a fast-burning pistol load. I can imagine the 30-06 would be hard to hold on to since it would be a rifle load and more powerful than the 30-30.
48 grains of 30-31 behind a 150 grain bullet, an old standby load for 30-06. Slow burning powder and produces about 50,000 PSI in a rifle. Wonder what 48 grains of Unique would do to the Contender, would it burst before the bullet even got started? Never had much interest in the Contender, some like them.
