Going to pick up the pump, regulator and valve system tomorrow for a herbicide spray system using an fold-up break away 18 foot boom I have built for my side by side. Lots of system available for ATV's but have found none for UTV's so it is build your own. Be spending the weekend putting it together. Anyone have any tips?

Jud-

Make certain you have an in-line filter sieve that is easily cleaned out as it is a royal (non-Green Bay)PITA to have clogged spray nozzles....................... just ask me !

Cheers

Tractor supply had one for 400 that had 30' coverage with a boom that we used out of the ranger.

For spraying though, my 125 gallon pto tractor rig is what I like. Most time I which I had a 250'though.

Thanks for the response. I have the in line filter between the tank and pump. Bought a valve that allows me to select any combination of the 3 sections on the boom, never had that ability before without some wrenching, should be good for just doing fence lines or having the booms up and just using the center section in tight spaces. Probably have it together this week end.
Let some red dye freeze a few years ago, when I mixed it in the tank it created a film on the surface line paint scum, then sang broken up into strings. Sid a bunch of nozzle screen cleaning that day.
