I called Dad on his cell this morning to update him on my condition.
Him and a friend were munching at the lunch bar before heading out for a round. AFter that they are heading for another round at St. Andrews. I heard "for" but said "at". I heard him say Pinehurst the first time but didn't connect the 2. I asked "St. Andrews? Another charity thing?". He says no, "Pinehurst, NC".
I say "OH s..t!! THE Pinehurst"
"Yeah THE Pinehurst!!"

Here I am unable to eat proper, speak without pain and unable to brush my teeth and he's out playing golf at one the most famous courses east of the Miss.
He could tell I was in much better spirits so he had no trouble rubbing it in - a lot.
