My sister, a Penn State "Parks and Recreation" Grad, worked for the San Diego school camp system. Every student went to camp as a part of the curriculum where they were all taught to be environmental enthusiasts. It is not just the water in California that causes the attitude.
Next time we talk I will get an opinion from her.
BTW, the most dangerous activity at Penn State involves certain beverages to excess.
