Makes sense. It's made up from occlusion(close;shut out; darken) and pan(bread).

I like that best so far.

Can I just call it the "Bread Tab Bag Closer Thingy"?? o.O :-$ :snarky:

Another good use for these "things" is to keep your bigger tape rolls from bunching up and from trying to re-find the spot where the tape left off. :good:
