Pleasant Surprise

My vehicle is just barely out of warranty. I remembered that I still need to order a replacement for one of the clear protective "stickers" on the bottom corner of the back door. It peeled off while I was washing it a while back.

I called the local dealership where I get it serviced, and to make sure I was requesting the right one I went to the garage to check. It had already been replaced. 🙂

They must have noticed it last time I got my oil changed. Just a small thing ($8-10), but it was a nice surprise.

I was just going to leave it off and not worry about it, but I plan on driving this vehicle for a while yet and want to pass it off to one of the kids. An internet search said that they really help avoid surface rust at a problem spot.
