I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I think it might be out of plumb.

You know you might just be right.
The lift was started with the pile toe out of position. It took a great deal of effort - and a second barge and crane - to get it to come across
It was plumb and no more than 40mm out of place when the driving started
It went down 5.1 metres just from its own weight (about 20 tonnes) and it was vibrated in about another metre before it stopped - which leaves a wee problem - its about 10 metres shy of specified depth and there isnt enough height above the pile top for the big hammer. Time for a bigger crane maybe?
It can take some time to add a section to a crane.
Will depend upon how far they will have to walk to lay it down and get started.
Perhaps the pier will be long enough and the sections are not too far away.
There is a white hat on edge tonight.......
Nice work Jim. I'll be back in a couple of weeks. Maybe in Lyttelton again.
Is that the "Circular Object" method on Trimble Access you are using? Shame it doesn't work in stakeout or stake line.
I have had to develop a couple of workarounds on the last couple of projects as Leica Captivate doesn't include a method for this. Arc from 3 points is the best that has been suggested.
Compensators off on the barge or is it stable enough with the legs down?

Negative to that - engineers gave us north and west points for the piles - I offset the line through the north points by the 'height' of the prism held to the pile with a magnet - then just staked to the point

The S6 is onshore, beside the large grey building, hidden by the crane. It is over a nail set on that same pile line
