Tahition girl say to depressed Christian Fletcher after mutiny:
"Tahiti people say: 'you eat life, or life eat you".
perhaps some truth in that. But life seem to eating a lot of us people these days.
I've always thought it was more about your focus. If the focus is inward, you will always fall short. If you turn your focus outward, you see both the good and the bad in the world around you.
It's topics like this where I really miss Nearly Normal. He came from a different place, for sure, but had a way of expression that would leave me pondering for days afterward.
You guys got me wanting to whip out and read some more pages from my "instant karma" book. 🙂
